Bout time i wrote this… A eulogy to my university life

Fucking hell! Where did those 4 years go? It all flew by so so quickly! It seems like only yesterday I was sitting down in my first ever university lecture and being told off for being hungover! I had such an immense four years and met some incredible people. I would do it all over again if I could. I spent so many amazing nights out with the LGBT and my army of gays =] and became bestest friends with the Gbar DJ and the toilet lady became my replacement mum! Although I am no longer welcome at the LGBT society after I offended the new people in one fell swoop! I made my fair share of mistakes during those 4 years, mainly the people I dated/slept with but its all an experience. I wouldnt change anything because its made me who I am today. LJMU might be a shit hole but it was my shit hole. I love that place and all my crazy lecturers. From Martine and her yoda noises to Jarmilla and her “Hello darlings!” at the start of every class. Liverpool is such an amazing place to live and I hope to live there again one day.

My year abroad was absolutely brilliant. France especially. I had an absolute blast in France and made some great friends from all over the world. I’m moving back there in September so that’s exciting! Spain was difficult at first, being homeless and all but once I was settled and had a job and friends it was all good! My year abroad made me a much stronger, more independant person and I’m so proud of myself for going and completing it even if Shannon spent everyday moaning that I wouldnt bring him absinthe and fags home :P

In conclusion, University was the best experience of my life. Its made me who I am today and I’m so much more stronger and happier for doing it. I wish it wasn’t over so soon but I’ll see everybody again when I come for visits!

Someday
